The ANZUK Force was a military formation established in 1971 by Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom to maintain a presence in the Asian Pacific region, particularly in Singapore and Malaysia, following the UK's withdrawal from the area. It was structured as a tri-service force, including naval, army, and air components, and was intended to support the Five Power Defence Arrangements, which involved Singapore and Malaysia in their own defense while the other three nations would consult in case of attack.
