Delivery information

Delivery information

We are a small family-run business, not a large warehouse, so every order is carefully packed and sent by us. We are not VAT-registered, so all prices shown are final and do not include any sales tax or VAT.

When we send orders

We process and post orders as often as we can, usually within 3 working days. We are not open every day and we are closed at weekends and public holidays.

If you need something urgently, please contact us before ordering so we can let you know if it is possible to prioritise your order.

How we send orders

We normally use Royal Mail for deliveries in the UK and overseas.

If you would like your parcel to go by courier, we can usually arrange this at an extra cost. Please get in touch before you place your order and we will confirm the price and when we can ship your order.

Once your order has been posted, you will receive an email to let you know it is on its way.

UK delivery options

When you check out, you can choose from the following options:

  • £3.00 – Standard shipping (Royal Mail tracked) – usually around 3–4 working days from the date of posting.
  • £8.50 – Royal Mail Special Delivery – usually next working day after posting (excluding Northern Ireland and some remote areas).

Please note: delivery times are from the date we post your order, not from the day you place it.

International delivery

We are happy to ship to most countries that are served by Royal Mail.

International delivery usually takes 7–20 working days, depending on the destination and the local postal service. A tracking number will be provided where available.

If your location costs more to ship to than our standard rate, we will contact you before we send your order to confirm any additional postage.

We charge £12 for most international destinations for tracked Royal Mail and £14 to the US.

Customs, duties and taxes

We are a UK-based small business and are not VAT-registered. This means that any import duties, taxes or local sales charges are the responsibility of the customer.

Your local postal service or customs office may contact you and ask you to pay these charges before your parcel is delivered.

We cannot estimate or prepay these costs, and we have no control over any delays caused by customs checks.

If you live in Canada we have prepared this information for you on duty and GST/HST

A quick note about delivery costs

We do not make a profit on delivery. In fact, we often make a small loss in order to keep our shipping prices as low and fair as possible for everyone.

Thank you for supporting a small family business. Every order really does mean a lot to us.
