Arabic ‘Central Military Zone’ cap badge (possibly UAE)

High quality badge with age, not sure what it is other then my research below.

This metal cap badge features a standing eagle above a scroll inscribed in Arabic with:

المنطقة العسكرية الوسطى

(al-mintaqa al-‘askariyya al-wustā)

Translation: “Central Military Region”

Badges with this style of eagle and regional designation were commonly used by Arab military forces in the late 20th century, particularly for identifying command areas or regional military districts. The piece appears consistent with 1970s–1990s manufacture, with a two-lug fastening on the reverse typical of older Arab-issue uniform insignia.
