This is a pre-1952 Bermuda Police collar badge, manufactured in solid silver by William Dowler & Sons of Birmingham, as indicated by the impressed WD&S maker’s mark and SILVER stamp to the reverse. The badge features the Bermuda coat of arms beneath a King’s Crown, dating it to the inter-war or early post-Second World War period.
