WWI Canadian Military Headquarters cap badge, sterling silver with correct brooch-back fixing, worn by Canadian officers and senior staff serving at CMHQ in London during the First World War (c.1916–1919). Featuring the maple leaf with CANADIAN MILITARY H.Q. lettering, this badge was issued to administrative and liaison personnel rather than front-line units. A scarce and desirable WWI headquarters badge in original condition, far less common than standard Canadian Expeditionary Force insignia.
