3rd (Bristol) VB Gloucestershire Regiment cap badge circa 1900-08. Good die-stamped white metal Sphinx on EGYPT resting on laurel sprays on unit title. Central shield with Arms of Bristol. Loops. VGC Raised 24th July, 1900 with HQ at Bristol. Became 6th Bn TF in 1908.
