The Badge Itself The bi-metal Q/C anodised version of the Army Catering Corps badge was introduced around 1954, with the Queen’s crown version sealed in October 1954 and its anodised pattern sealed as late as April 1963. Crucially, the version with the added motto scroll was not introduced until after 1973.
