During the colonial and immediate post‑colonial period, several Ugandan kingdoms ( such as Busoga) had their own police or local administrative forces with distinct badges based on their traditional emblems. This must be one of those badges-issued under the Uganda Protectorate or in the early years after independence but whom exactly wore it is a mystery to me.
