Early Omani “Country Defence Regiment” Badge – High-Quality Silvered Example (1930s–50s)
A scarce early badge from the Fawj Difāʿ al-Bilād (“Country Defence Regiment”), one of the pre-SAF military units of Muscat & Oman. This high-quality piece is beautifully made, likely silver or silver-plated, and far superior to later mass-produced insignia. It features the classic eagle over crossed Omani khanjars with an Arabic scroll bearing the unit name.
