QVC The 35th (Royal Sussex) Regiment of Foot officers gilt button.

Large 25mm button in mint condition. The front bears the regimental title “ROYAL SUSSEX REGT” around a central circlet enclosing the number 35, surmounted by a Victorian crown. The reverse carries the backmark “FIRMIN & SONS · LONDON” — this particular backmark was used from the early 1850s through to 1875, when the firm became a limited company , giving a confident date range of c.1852–1875.
