Enamel mufti badge which was given to each and every recruit of the Bradford pals ie the 16th and the 18th Battalions of the Prince of Wales Own West Yorkshire regiment. known locally in and around Bradford as the first and the second Bradford pals.

the badges were issued with horeshoe type fixing usually used on jacket lapel buttonholes but has been converted into a broach type fixing and no doubt then used by wives and girlfriends as a sweetheart badge when the men went off to war.
