Church Lads’ Brigade Cadets – King’s Own Royal Rifle Corps Cap Badge
A fine and increasingly scarce pre-Second World War cap badge worn by cadets of the Church Lads’ Brigade affiliated with the King’s Own Royal Rifle Corps.
Featuring the regiment’s distinctive Maltese cross with crowned scroll bearing the motto “Fight the Good Fight”, this badge reflects the close relationship between the Brigade and one of Britain’s most respected rifle regiments. The CLB played an important role in preparing young men for military service, and many former cadets went on to serve with distinction during the First World War.
This example retains its original brass slider fitting and displays attractive age patina throughout, making it a desirable piece for collectors of rifle regiments, cadet organisations, and pre-service military history.
