WW2 COMMANDO cloth shoulder title (White letters on dark blue)

 Shoulder titles were not worn until mid-1941 when a white on black pattern was adopted. This coincided with the adoption of Troop numbers rather than Troop letters and the Troop number was worn, also in white, below the centre of the shoulder title arc. The Troops were numbered 1 - 6 and HQ wore no number. The red on black title was adopted in early 1943 . However I have also seen a WW2 RN Commando battle dress with a pair of these on.
