Great condition white metal plated on brass, rear pin working perfectly.
A wartime-made breast or cap badge issued to members of the Free Czechoslovak Army serving in exile in Britain during the Second World War.
The badge features the Czechoslovak lion beneath a scroll reading “CZECHOSLOVAK ARMY”, with a helmet and laurel motif below. This pattern was produced in the UK for Czechoslovak forces who re-formed under British command after the 1939 occupation.
Made by H. W. Miller Ltd., Birmingham, a known manufacturer of WWII insignia. Fitted with a classic British-style pin back. Period manufacture: c. 1940–45.
