WW2 Italian VII CAMPO DUX · OPERA BALILLA” breast badge.

Description:

A silvered white-metal badge issued for the 7th “Campo Dux” — the annual national rally for Italy’s Fascist youth organisation, Opera Balilla. The front shows a helmeted Mussolini flanked by two rifles, with the inscription “VII CAMPO DUX · OPERA BALILLA” and the date “A.XIII” (Year XIII of the Fascist calendar, 1935). Diameter approx. 38mm.

The reverse carries the maker’s mark  Lorioli & Castelli, Milano” along with “MODELLO DEPOSITATO” (registered design) and “RIPRODUZIONE INTERDETTA” (reproduction forbidden). Fitted with its original vertical pin fastening.

Condition: good, with light surface wear consistent with age, strong crisp detail to the design, and a pleasing overall patina.
