The Straja Țării (Sentinel of the Fatherland) was a youth organization in the Kingdom of Romania, created in 1935 by King Carol Il to counteract the influence of the Iron Guard.
In 1940, when the government of the National Legionary State replaced the regime of King Carol of Romania, after the crisis caused by the Second Vienna Arbitration, the organization was dissolved and all its assets passed into the hands of the Iron Guard.
Metal badge with enamel on its surface, bearing the coat of arms of the Romanian monarchy. The reverse side has the manufacturer's marks and a pin for attaching it to a uniform.
