Swiss Soldaten-Weihnacht Charity Badge (1940)

A Swiss Soldiers’ Christmas fundraising badge issued in 1940 to support troops mobilised during the Second World War. The front shows a Swiss soldier wearing the M1918 helmet; the reverse is marked in Germany’s three national languages: “Soldaten-Weihnacht / Le Noël du Soldat / Il Natale del Soldato”, along with maker P. Kramer, Neuchâtel. These multilingual markings confirm its Swiss origin.
