WWII South African Pretoria Regiment (Princess Alice’s Own) Cap Badge, c.1934-1945

Description: A bronze cap badge of the Pretoria Regiment (Princess Alice’s Own), a South African Union Defence Force unit. The badge shows a springbok standing on a mound, above a scroll reading “Pretoria Regiment” and “Princess Alice’s Own.” Two lug fixings to the reverse, Worn during the regiment’s WWII service, which included the Madagascar campaign of 1942 and the Italian campaign with 6th SA Armoured Division from 1944-45. Good condition consistent with age and service, dark patina throughout.
